We are all looking for certainty and reassurance in the wake of the challenges posed by COVID-19.  I am writing to assure you that Assurant Intermediary is working closely with our insurer partners to ensure that you and your customers continue to receive the best service we can offer.

All our insurers are continuing to work normally. I have received official and unofficial communications from them confirming the steps taken to ensure that service continuity will be maintained.  Their main priority is claims handling and providing an uninterrupted service to policyholders at a time when offices are being closed and people are rightly being urged not to commute.

I am pleased to announce that all of our insurance partners have invoked tried and tested business continuity plans with personnel working from home where necessary.

Along with our insurers, Assurant Intermediary has also put plans in place to ensure that we continue to serve you, but I would ask for your patience at this difficult time.

We would ask wherever possible and on non-urgent queries, that you use our dedicated Adviser email address [advisers@assurant.com] and we will look to respond within 48 hours.

As the situation changes, we will keep you updated with information on our insurers, their products and any changes as soon as we have it.
